Australian actress PETA WILSON found odd inspiration for her role as a vampire in THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN - her baby and VANESSA REDGRAVE.

The sexy LA FEMME NIKITA star plays DRACULA character MINA HARKER in the comic book adaptation, and admits her research material was drawn from unusual places.

She reveals, "My baby MARLOWE was great inspiration. He was three-months-old and breast-feeding, and I was in demand through the film and I couldn't get that corset off quick enough.

"He would be ripping at it and I would see him and he would make these primal and guttural sounds. It was just a human need where he could never live without that milk and he would scream and cry and be ferocious until he got it and he was so satisfied afterwards and he had this bliss come over him.

"I thought, 'Yeah I could play a vampire in a very human way.' He did start to get those baby teeth and I had to teach him that you don't bite me. If you bite me you don't get any more."

Wilson found the rest of her Harker character in her acting idol Vanessa Redgrave's portrayal of ISADORA DUNCAN in 1968 movie ISADORA.

She explains, "She was almost like a human vampire - she chewed through men like she did dance numbers. She was so masculine, it was almost like she prayed upon men to keep the man in her alive."
